SEND FREE SMS USING GMAIL

Gmail offers a new features sending SMS to contact's mobile phones. This allows the user to send SMS through all over the world. Some of my friends frequently asked about the method of sending SMS thorough Gmail. I will provide thorough this post. please don't forget to read the note given at the bottom of the post.

1. Enter the contact's name in the search box above the chat list at the right side of your page .

If you have already have chat window opened then click more & select send Text (SMS)

NOTE: If the chat doesn't appear you have to enable sms chat in lab tab.

2. The dialogue box will appear choose your country and enter the mobile number and click the save button.

3. Now the chat window will appear just type the message that you want to convey and hit enter .It will send to their mobile phone.

NOTES:

• You can send up to 50 sms credits. 
• Your credits  will be increased by 5 for each reply(You may be charged for replying).As this features is under lab in Gmail. 
• This is available for selected operators in country.
• Though it is free from Gmail the receiver may be charged for an SMS  based on their mobile carrier.
